7Nutrition Protein Matrix 2000g
A high-protein dietary supplement designed for physically active individuals. Contains a carefully selected protein complex and bovine collagen hydrolysate. Enriched with creatine monohydrate and L-glutamine, it supports muscle building and post-workout recovery. DigeZyme® digestive enzymes enhance the absorption of active ingredients.
Whey protein concentrate is characterized by a very rapid digestion rate – after consumption, amino acid levels in the blood increase, which stimulates muscle protein synthesis (MPS). One study demonstrated that whey protein stimulates postprandial muscle protein accumulation more effectively than casein and casein hydrolysate. This effect was attributed to faster absorption kinetics and high leucine content [1].
However, the mixture of whey proteins and casein affects the rate of gastric emptying and the release of amino acids – a higher proportion of whey proteins means a faster release of leucine, which is beneficial, especially after exercise, when the body needs a quick supply of amino acids [2].
Calcium caseinate – Casein is a slower-digesting protein, which prolongs the release of amino acids into the bloodstream. This provides long-lasting anabolic support and is ideal before bed or between meals [2].
Bovine collagen hydrolysate – hydrolyzed collagen is broken down into smaller peptides that are easily digestible and can support the regeneration of connective tissues – tendons, ligaments, and skin. A review and meta-analysis of recent studies show that collagen supplementation improves lean muscle mass (FFM), muscle strength, tendon structure, and accelerates recovery from resistance training-induced muscle damage [3].
Creatine Monohydrate – Creatine is one of the most researched supplements in the sports context. It increases muscle phosphocreatine stores, allowing for greater performance during short-term, intense exercises. It helps increase strength, power, and training volume, and also supports water retention in muscles, which impacts their appearance and function [4].
L-Glutamine – Glutamine is an amino acid that becomes important during intense exercise, when its stores may be depleted. Supplementation helps support the immune system, accelerate post-exercise recovery, and has a beneficial effect on intestinal function [5].
Digestive Enzymes DigeZyme® – This is an enzyme complex that can support food digestion and reduce dyspepsia-related symptoms. In a study conducted in individuals with functional dyspepsia, taking DigeZyme® for 60 days reduced symptoms such as bloating, fullness, belching, and stomach discomfort [6]. Thanks to digestive enzymes, the product better supports the absorption of nutrients, which may improve the effects of supplementation.
